The Girl On A Boat is my upcoming debut album, an epic tale of a young woman from an isolated island who goes on a voyage to chase her inner child’s dream and discovers a fantastical world. Inspired by my own journey in becoming an artist, this is a story that asks some of the biggest questions we artists face with: what is your biggest dream, and how far will you go for it?
Inspired by fantasy, anime, video-games, movie soundtracks, pop, rock and folklore, I am very thrilled to share with you this album, coming in May of 2027.
This album isn’t just a music piece, it’s a world filled with stories, characters and wonder. From islands, tides, flying whales, to a city in the sky, I want to share everything of this world as if it came from a book. I have created a story for each song, a tale from the main character, and I am going to share each tale via Snail Mail! Every month, I will send a letter to your mailbox with a tale from her voyage, a snippet of the track correspondent to the tale and little trinkets to help you fully immerse in this world.

In 2025, Yara was longlisted for the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition “She belongs on a festival stage” – Atomic Vox, and headlined the UK’s first Renaissance Faire, connecting with audiences all over the UK and beyond.
