To celebrate the release of my debut album on the 20th of May 2027,
I invite you to immerse in the world of The Girl On A Boat.
I’m hosting a free concert at Battersea Barge at 8pm, an evening
of cinematic sounds and atmosphere, with lyrics and stories that will take you on a voyage to Nawen’s world (our hero), exploring the meaning of belonging and chasing dreams. Put on your best character costume (extra points if it’s ocean/adventure themed!), invite your village and come along.
And if you have the spirit of voyage, how about we go on an adventure?*
Before the concert starts, get to know Nawen’s story through an adventure
in a lovely walk alongside the River Thames, unlocking locations that inspired the album, to reach the destination.

THE GIRL ON A BOAT: An adventure
With the help of your phone, you will go on a treasure hunt style adventure. Each location will give you small quests around Nawen’s story, that once completed unlock tokens and the next location, until you reach the music venue, the final destination. This adventure is best enjoyed with friends, or solo while listening to the album, so make sure you bring headphones! To access the adventure, grab your ticket and tap the link in the ticket.
What this entails
Duration: 1.15/1.30h
Walking difficulty: Flat, with one flight of stairs in one location but it is optional to the quest. Bear in the mind the venue does have a small amount of steps, it is not wheelchair friendly.
Starting Point: The first location will be in the London Bridge area, but you may start the adventure wherever you will be.
Accessibility: For attendees with dyslexia, the adventure provides a dyslexic font. For attendees with physical disabilities, unfortunately the adventure is not wheelchair friendly as you might go through stairs, and the music venue is only accessible via stairs.

How much are the tickets?
Tickets are free! Scroll down and get tickets for you and your friends, the more the merrier!
Is the adventure also free?
Yes, both the adventure and concert are free to join, but you must get a ticket to access everything.
Do I have to do the adventure?
No, it is entirely optional and just a fun way to immerse in the world. If you prefer to only attend the concert, feel free to arrive at Battersea Barge before doors open at 8pm.
Is the venue accessible?
Unfortunately, it is not friendly for wheelchair users. The concert is in the lower deck of the boat, only accessible via a small amount of stairs. However the adventure is completely step free.
Are there places around to eat?
While the are plenty of restaurants around, the venue also has a restaurant, in the higher deck! Make sure you book a reservation ahead of time.
I don't have a costume, what do I do?
It is not mandatory to dress-up! You are very welcome to come as you are, but if you would like to add a fantasy touch, TikTok and vintage shops are a great source of inspiration! The best looks are the ones you can be creative and show your true self, without spending loads of money. TikTok has a big fantasy community with a lot of videos on how to add whimsy in fashion.
Can I do the adventure with my friends?
Of course! You can enjoy the adventure solo while listening to the album on your headphones, or you can share it with your friends.
Is this LGBTQ+ friendly?
Very much so 🙂
Can I take photos/videos during the concert and the adventure?
Yes, of course. Just be mindful of others: don’t block the view too much, and keep phone usage to a minimum during the concert. Thoughtful moments make it magical for everyone. But please create all the memories you’d like!
Will there be merch?
Yes! If you’d like to support this event and my work, head to the merch table and buy something you like. It’s very appreciated! Make sure you stick around after the show for a meet-and-greet. Don’t leave without getting your merch signed!
What is the age limit?
This is a 14+ event (under 18s with an adult).
